REGINA OFFICE MANAGER ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

PINTER Regina, SK currently has an exciting opportunity for an Intrepid, Energetic, Senior Engineer or Scientist to manage and grow our Regina Office. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum University Degree: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or the Sciences
  • Eligible for P. Eng. registration within Saskatchewan, or Qualified Persons Designation
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in consulting and/or related services

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Direct prior work experience with some or all of the areas of practice currently offered by PINTER
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a willingness to function in a team-based environment
  • Strong mentoring and training
  • Proven ability to work with minimal oversight and demonstrated self-initiative
  • Project Management
  • Extensive prior experience with onsite inspections and assessments
  • Well-developed Saskatchewan and Western Canada business network and connections

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Business development throughout Western Canada
  • Client and staff management
  • Recruit, manage, train, mentor multi-disciplinary staff
  • Financial wellbeing of the office and the morale of the staff
  • Carry out project related duties
  • Ensure the safety of all staff and the safe operation of the Regina Office

INTERMEDIATE MUNICIPAL ENGINEER

PINTER & Associates Ltd. (PINTER) is a multiple award winning consultant.  PINTER is Saskatchewan-based, locally owned and operated offering services to the public, industry, government, and First Nations in the areas of municipal, environmental, geotechnical, safety engineering and project management.  We have offices in Saskatoon, Regina, and Prince Albert, and support clients locally and across Western Canada with a diverse staff of highly trained and experienced professionals.

PINTER Saskatoon, SK currently has an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Municipal Engineer in our Municipal Engineering Department. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum B. Sc. degree Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • P. Eng. or to ability to obtain within 2 years
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in municipal services planning, design and construction services
  • Strong desire to grow professionally into leadership roles
  • The successful candidate will be a person with initiative and will be a self starter

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project management
  • Assisting with client development and management
  • Infrastructure planning design of:
    • Linear infrastructure systems
    • Water distribution
    • Sanitary and storm sewer systems
    • Water and Wastewater Treatment
  • Site grading design
  • Contract management supervision
  • Supervision and mentoring of junior engineers, technologists and designers
